Not meThere are some girls in my year at school who all seem to be going out with 17 year olds and they are only 14Is that weird or am I just annoying
You are watching: Can a 17 year old date a 14 year old
It"s not unusual. In my school there"s a 15 year old going out with a 22 year old.It shouldn"t happen, but it"s not unusual. And as long as it"s not grooming, it"s fine and you shouldn"t worry about that.
nothing wrong with age gap, but I think age 14 is a little young to be deciding relationships especially since they"re nearing examination years (GCSES and A-levels).

After GCSEs and a levels many people go to uni and will have exams there so do you think people should be single until they"re 21?
I didn"t say up to uni... Because uni is optional. I don"t mind people deciding on relationships after or even during A-levels. But GCSEs for some are the first most crucial exams and it"s best to prepare for first official exams like these. I"ve seen some people break down because they spent more time with their partner than preparing for first exams to their career.

lol good point but i think they mean that at the age of 14 the exams they do determine a significant amount of one"s future, i mean if u **** up gcses then u cant rlly do alevles and if u **** up alevels then byebye to uni. whereas if u get through gcses and alevels well then the uni exams are not as difficult, unis is mainly building upon your knowledge and gaining skills

likely hood is that the 17yr old boy is trying to use the girl. although thats not illegal if she gives invernessgangshow.netnsent, its jus wrong cus she isnt well informed. acc it might be illegal cus that like underage innit?
Apart from the fact that them having sex invernessgangshow.netuld invernessgangshow.netuld get him in legal trouble then I guess it"s okay however they are likely using her as most older people do to younger people(there are ones out there who are nice and just generally want to date each other and yeah that"s fine but again they should be wary of legal matters)

At 15 I had a 19 yr old boyfriend. I’m pretty sure my parents didn’t like it but never said a word to me because they knew it would be over as quickly as it started. And it was. You’re at different points in your life and so it’s unlikely to last
What’s more worrying about this post is the invernessgangshow.netmments.The legal age of invernessgangshow.netnsent in the uk for sexual activity is 16. So unfortunately the gap everyone suggests is normal, cannot really been used in this instance. Yes ofc, there is age gaps amongst the majority. However, both parties involved are very much in a vulnerable position. The 14 year olds are at risk of being groomed etc And the 17 year olds are at risk of revenge action, parental invernessgangshow.netncern or even child pornography charges.Although not uninvernessgangshow.netmmon, for the benefit of all involved it’s best that these types of relationships are left well alone!
